Tinubu A Father To All Nigerian Progressives – Says Tinubu’s Daughter, Folashade

Folashade Tinubu-Ojo has described her father, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a father figure to all Nigerian progressives.

The Iyaloja General of Lagos State Markets said on Thursday that the APC national leader deserves to be voted as Nigeria’s next president considering competency and experience.

According to her, President Muhammadu Buhari‘s government had done well but Tinubu will do better consolidating the incumbent administration’s achievement.

Naija News understands that Tinubu-Ojo spoke positively of her father in Abuja today while accepting her appointment as grand patroness of a support group, the Tinubu Vanguard.

According to her, Lagos State, where her father had governed excellently, is a mini Nigeria, hence the APC candidate will surely excel as president of Nigeria.

She stressed that the candidate was best positioned to consolidate the achievements of the Buhari administration and to improve on areas where there were still challenges.

“The present government has done well in many areas, but there is still much to be done. Tinubu’s presidency will surely consolidate on present achievements and improve in other areas,” she said.

In his remark earlier, the Director-General of Tinubu Vanguard, Dr Benjamin Johnny said the quest for a better Nigeria was the reason behind the group.

Johnny said that Nigeria needed the experience of a leader like Tinubu to tackle present economic and security challenges.

He said the choice of Tinubu-Ojo as grand patroness was informed by her proven passion for service to humanity in her role as Iyaloja.

“Tinubu is now a father to all Nigerian progressives who see him as a symbol of excellence and service delivery, and we are committed to ensuring his success at the polls, ” Johnny said.
