‘Tithing Works But Not Compulsory’ – Actor Uti Nwachukwu

Nollywood actor, Uti Nwachukwu has said that though tithing works it is not compulsory.

Uti shared his thoughts via his Twitter handle.

He stated that indeed the concept of tithing actually works but people should not be forced to do it because no one would be punished for not participating.

He maintained that that the idea of tithing is elective and it is a convenat blessing available for those that are interested alone.

The issue of tithing has often caused debates amongst Nigerians. Some have felt that the 10 percent is a mandate from the Lord most high while others have claimed that clergymen simply use it to enrich their pockets.

Meanwhile, the Enugu State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has arrested one Ifeanyi Amadikwa for allegedly killing his three children.

A police report made available to newsmen on Wednesday alleged the 53-year-old man murdered his biological children and refrigerated their remains.

Naija News understands that the suspect, a resident of 74 Nkwubor Road, Emene near Enugu, was arrested on January 4 at about 7:30 PM. Read more
