#UCLFinal: Gerrard Predicts Score For Liverpool Vs Real Madrid
Liverpool legend turn Aston Villa manager, Steven Gerrard, has predicted the Champions League final correct scoreline as the Reds face Real Madrid on Saturday night.
Naija News understands that the European Cup final will be played today at the Stade de France stadium.
Wishing the Reds the best of luck as they set to make another record, Gerrard who was once a captain at Liverpool, predicted that the Reds will defeat the La Liga giants by 2-0 today in Paris.
The former Reds made this prediction in a video message on the club’s official Twitter account, Naija News reports.
Gerrard who lifted the Champions League title with Liverpool in 2005 was spotted from inside the Stade the France, where he was in attendance for Liverpool’s final training session ahead of the tough clash.
“Hopefully it’ll be a fantastic game and I predict a 2-0 Liverpool win,” Gerrard said.
Naija News recalls that Gerrard’s side, Aston Villa had tried to see Liverpool win the just concluded 2021/2022 English Premier League title on Sunday, May 22, 2022.
Their best, however, was not enough as their early lead against champions, Manchester City was disappointed with a comeback.
