Behind the striker’s success is his supportive family, including his social media star sister, Gabrielle Braut Haaland, who has an impressive career of her own.

Who is Erling Haaland’s sister Gabrielle?
Gabrielle Braut Haaland is an Instagram personality and, according to her LinkedIn, a healthcare assistant.
Born on January 9, 1998, the Man City star’s older sibling appears to have worked as a nursing and care assistant in her home of Norway since 2014.
She married Norwegian football player Jan Gunnar Eide in 2020 and the pair welcomed their first child, a baby boy, the following year.
The couple also appear to have welcomed a baby girl in April.
Gabrielle posted an adorable picture of a newborn baby in a pink outfit, covered in a pink blanket, on her Instagram page on April 16.
She captioned the picture with a simple white love heart emoji, and the comments section quickly filled up with congratulatory messages and love heart emojis – including three from Erling Haaland himself.
Does Erling Haaland have any other siblings?
As well as his sister, Erling Haaland – who moved from Borussia Dortmund to Man City in 2022 – also has an older brother, finance student Astor Haaland.
Astor was born in 1995, five years before Erling arrived on July 21, 2000.
The football star’s father, Alf-Inge Haaland, also has two young daughters who he shares with his second wife, Anita Strømsvol, meaning Erling has two half sisters.
The girls are clearly huge fans of their famous big brother, who reportedly takes home a staggering £865,000 per week, and have appeared on their father’s Instagram account several times in adorable posts with him.
Erling also has two cousins who are professional footballers, proving talent really does run in the family.
Jonatan Braut Brunes and Albert Tjaland, who play for Norwegian teams Strømsgodset and Molde, respectively, are both strikers, like Erling.

Gabrielle is very active on Instagram, where she boasts over 109k followers.
She often shares pictures with her brothers, Astor and Erling, and the trio appear to be very close.
The siblings last all appeared together in a sweet picture that was uploaded to her page on Christmas Day 2022.
The previous Christmas, the siblings posed for the camera in a particularly cute shot that saw superstar striker Erling holding his baby nephew.
Gabrielle also regularly delights her followers with pictures of her adorable son, and her travels around the world with her husband.
The pair have travelled to Paris, France, and Gran Canaria, Spain, as well as beautiful locations in their home of Norway.

Who are Erling Haaland’s parents?
Erling Haaland is the son of two impressive sporting talents.
His father Alf-Inge Haaland, also known as Alfie, was once a professional footballer too, and even played for his son’s current team Man City.
Alfie also played in the Premier League for Nottingham Forest, and Leeds United, as well as representing his home country, Norway, in its national team.
Haaland’s mother Gry Marita Braut, meanwhile, is an accomplished athlete in her own right.
She previously participated in the heptathlon and was once the Norwegian champion.
Haaland’s parents and the three children – Gabrielle, Astor and Erland – lived in the UK when family patriarch Alfie was playing in the Premiere League, but the family moved back to Norway after he retired in 2003.
Haaland’s mum and dad later separated and divorced, with Alfie then going on to marry again and have two more daughters.
