‘You Are A Drug User’ – Atiku Aide Fires Fani-Kayode Over Ill Health Comment

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has been described as a drug user over his ill health comment about the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.

Fani-Kayode on Tuesday had alleged that Atiku collapsed and was flown to Paris for medical attention.

The All Progressives Congress chieftain in a post on his Twitter account claimed that Atiku collapsed after he arrived in Abuja from a PDP rally in Kaduna State.

The media aide to the former vice president, Paul Ibe, however, stated that his principal is on a trip to Paris for business purposes.

A Special Assistant on Public Communication to Atiku, Phrank Shaibu, while reacting to Fani-Kayode’s comment, called on Nigerians to ignore him.

Shaibu in a chat with Daily Post said, “When a habitual drug user speaks, what do you expect? After our rally, Tinubu was in Abuja and Atiku landed before him.

“Atiku took off from the Air Force base because, as a former Vice President, he was the only one allowed to take off from there. Tinubu took off from the old Air Force and they landed at about the same time with five minutes intervals.”

Shaibu noted that the APC Presidential candidate met with Atiku at the VIP lounge, where they hugged and laughed.

He wondered about the point where Atiku collapsed, adding that the PDP presidential candidate is a man loaded with substance.

According to Shaibu, the former vice president is in Paris for a business meeting.

He called on APC to go and take care of their sick candidate.

The aide to Atiku added, “We have commenced campaigns, and they cannot; they should go and campaign; that is too idle; that is why they are looking for things to say.

“The same man walked to Atiku and was admiring his attire, he was locked in admiration of the PDP logo on Atiku’s breast pocket, and suddenly they said he slumped and was flown to Paris.

“Fani-Kayode is a drug addict, and we won’t exchange words with him; he should stop looking for what is not missing. APC should get busy and shop chasing how to turn rotten situations into bad ones.”
