‘You Couldn’t Even Allow Him To Collaborate With Other Singers’- Uche Madugwu Tackles Davido Over DaBaby’s Visit
Nigerian Afrobeat singer Davido has been dragged by controversial Nollywood actor Uche Madugwu over the recent visit of American singer DaBaby.
Naija News recalls that barely a week ago, Davido invited DaBaby for a music video shot in the trenches and immediately after the music production, the American singer left the country.
Reacting to this, Uche Maduagwu in a post shared on his Instagram page, tackled Davido for not allowing DaBaby to have a few minutes of music collaboration with any of his close friends or artists on his music label.
Uche Maduagwu questioned Davido on his popular slogan of ‘We Rise By Lifting Other’ yet could not give any of his friends the opportunity to collaborate with DaBaby but was interested in buying them second-hand clothes and pieces of jewellery.
He wrote: OBO invite DaBaby come Naija yet no allow am do even 40 seconds collabo with any of his close friends not even artiste on his music label. So much for we rise by lifting others.
This is just unfair, wetin e go cost yo to allow Peruzzi or even Dremo to collabo with the big America star to upgrade dem music career profile? Abi we rise by lifting othersna only to pack dem like Titus fish go bend down select shopping for T-shirt and $200 jewelry you sabi? This is something 2baba or odogwu no go do, lets even assume you wan give your close singer friends and the big opportunity to collabo with DaBaby.
