Zinoleesky Speaks After Release From NDLEA Custody
Popular Nigerian singer, Zinoleesky, on Sunday lamented about the state of things in the country.
This is coming after operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested the singer over a drug-related offence.
Recall that NDLEA operatives arrested Zinoleesky, Mohbad and some others on Thursday after raiding their apartment in Lekki, Lagos State.
The agency while justifying the raid disclosed that it discovered molly and cannabis in their possession.
Operatives of NDLEA in viral videos were seen shooting into the air, while the musician was assaulted with clubs.
The development has been condemned by Marlian music boss, Naira Marley and other Nigerians.
Zinoleesky in a post on his Instagram account after being released 48 hours after his arrest claimed that there is no joy for the country again.
He said, “There’s no joy for the country anymore.
Zinoleesky in another post on his account wrote, “update-Finally finally, we go all day alright.”
This would not be the first time operatives of the agency would raid an apartment of a celebrity.
Popular skit maker, DeGeneral saw his residence raided in January which led to his arrest, he was, however, released after being taken to court.
